Yesh, I've had it on promo for a couple of weeks. It's very good in that
sweet & floaty Morr/CCO sort of way, but I think "album of the year" is
pushing it a little. I'd put it in the same area as the Christian Kleine
album, and maybe Arovane's "Tides".
Also very good in the same vein (i.e. mellow and groovy electronics with
some guitar smatterings here and there) is the upcoming album by Minotaur
Shock called "Chiff-Chuffs & Willow Warblers". It's out in a couple of
weeks on Melodic Records in the UK, and I think Plug Research is going to
distribute it in North America. Very nice, cool & relaxing stuff. More info
